Not an author I've ever heard of.

Steven Brust has written the Vlad Taltos Series and the Khaavren Romances. The Khaavren Romances are written in the style of The Three Musketeers.
I enjoy the series so much that I have read both multiple times.

Thanks - sounds interesting. I'm slightly surprised that I've not come across him before! I'll have to give him a go.

I mostly like Brust and recommend him. For some reason, I have never been able to get into his Khaavren Romances, but love the Vlad Taltos Series.

I love both series. It took a little bit to adjust to the way Brust tells the story in the Khaavren Romances, but I found I enjoy that style more than I thought I would.
