The grain of salt needed with that rumor is about the size of a basketball. Possible, sure....likely.... not so much.

That there is a team playing around with Mac OS Tablet prototypes? I'll take that little grain of salt. Odds that it is anywhere near release? At least a basketball sized one..maybe beach ball

You have to assume they have investigated both OS for the ipad, but it would seem insane for them to try and release a competing product in an unproven market.

Apple still hasn't put out a tablet. What they did put out is a larger iPod Touch.
