I haven't been following closely but basically it was that anything published after 1/1/2023 may not be able to be downloaded to Kindle for PC except in KFX format (which excludes old versions) and therefore makes using the Tools more difficult.

Yes, that was exactly it. Thank you very much. According to the linked post, it's after 2023-01-03, which means books published on the 1st or 2nd of January might have snuck in, but this is kind of splitting hairs.

I've read this one, it's really good. Not as thick as some of Hamilton's works, so it's a good way to try out his writing if you're not familiar with him yet.
