Calibre won't upload epub file to PRS-505.
I have an ebook in epub format that I should be able to read on my PRS-505. I tried to upload that epub file to my reader using Calibre 0.7.18 but it asks me to convert beforehand because no suitable file is found. When it asks me if I want to convert it first, I say yes. But it won't convert the file and gives me the following error:

Can you upload other epub files to your reader? If not go to preferences->Advanced->plugins->device interface plugins and customize the sony driver. Make sure epub is checked as asupported format.

It is the only epub file I have, and when it would convert to LRF, and read that my 505 should be able to read epub files, I decided to try uploading the epub file instead.
I did as you suggested, and made sure the epub format was checked as a supported device, which it wasn't but now is, and the book uploaded fine. All seems to be good now, thank you! :-) |
