Hello again!

iOS 14.4.2 is now out and I was wondering if anyone had updated their phone and if Marvin 3 is still running without difficulty. I haven't upgraded to the new iOS yet as I don't want to go through having to reinstall Marvin again so thought I would come here and see how others are doing.

Seems to be working same as it was before (some glitches scrubbing within chapters, etc. but still mostly okay). To be safe, just create a backup of Marvin before you update.

I don't bother since I can always re-download my books from Dropbox anyway.

So far, after 5 attempts my Ipad 11 hasn't been able to get it downloaded - very normal for the 11, usually takes 8 or 9 tries. I always try it before updating my ipad mini 5 (which never takes more than one attempt downloading). Same reason as you, does Marvin 3 have to be reinstalled afterward.

However, after I downloaded 14.4.1 on each, Ipad 11 Marvin 3 had to be reinstalled, BUT Ipad mini 5 worked just fine. I can't figure it out, 11 has more storage than the 5, but the 5 is faster, better in all ways. I only keep the 11 for Procreate, otherwise it's a terrible tablet. The mini is suburb.

my iPhone runs Marvin 3 just fine on all previous updates (running 14.4.2 now) - no issues. Never had to reinstall Marvin.

No issues here. Well, at least no new ones.

Just updated one of the iPads to the latest beta 4 and that appears to be OK, too.
