Me too. It's one of my all-time favorite novels.

Neil Gaiman has commented favorably on social media about the casting, at least, so I'm hopeful.

Yes, I know what the expression is supposed to be and I have always wondered why nobody ever wondered how proof could possibly be in the pudding.

The previews make the show look very well-cast, but did not pique my interest enough. My wife, who has never read the novel, wanted nothing to do with it. At all.

(I could be persuaded by Gillian Anderson though...)
