Searching dilemma
I am not sure if I am doing the search wrong, but I have been trying to show books that contain mutually exclusive tags.
I want to create a virtual library based on some tags I have for exclusive shelves in Goodreads. However, I can only isolate one tag at a time. Instead of books containing both "X" and "Y" (impossible for exclusive shelves) Is there a way to create a library based on books that contain "X" or "Y"? |

I can't seem to be able to do that. Does this only work with tags? I am looking for text shown in the tag browser.

Try clicking on one of the entries in the tag browser. The search used will be shown. Then, ctrl-click on the other entry in the tag browser. The search will be changed to add the second entry. They will be connected with either "and" or "or" (which is used is controlled by options). Make it an "or" and you should have your search.

Thanks,
I had tried to do that in the past, but ended up with basically all the tags and not just the ones I wanted, but I went in and did it just now. Although I had to manually change the "and" to "or" but it still worked! Thanks |
