My Kobo glo isn't recognized on any of my computers. can anyone send me the image?

Other than the computers not seeing it, is the Glo still working? If so, it is unlikely that reimaging the card will help. It is more likely that something else is wrong. A different cable might help or it's possible the connector is damaged. And have you done a factory reset?

And in case nothing else helps, I have sent you a PM with the link to the image.

Hi fellow readers,

I am new to ebook readers. I bought my new Kobo glo ereader today and apparently it got 'BRICKED' after the update. Connected to PC,started the Kobo Desktop software and after the ereader software got updated the Glo stopped functioning. It is now just showing a lit screen with flashing green light near the light button. Tried all the solution but none helps.

I think the only way i can salvage my glo is thru copying a original image of Glo on sd card. Friends it would be kind of you if i be led to one such image copy of the card.

I am using windows xp3. Model no KObo n613 kobo b.

As using this requires you to open the device, if it is really bricked, I would return it and get a replacement.

Sir thanks for your kind help. Yes sir i referred as many threads i could on this forum for solution. But none of them worked out.

I'll download the image and let all know if it worked out.

Hi, my Glo seems bricked after attempting the OTA firmware upgrade. Devices was on 3.1.x I have a 4GB internal SD card. Could some send me an image so I can attempt to restore and get my Glo working. Device constantly cycling through updating and restarting.

I just wanted to thank davidfor for PMing the image. Downloaded the utilities earlier in the post and rewrote and expanded the image to an 8GB MicroSD I had lying around.
Big test was to sync and update and lo and behold, I'm at 3.3.0! I thought I read that 3.5 was available, not sure why my Kobo Glo only updated to 3.3.0. I'm still happy because its all working again and I can get back to reading.

It all happened like a thriller movie for me.
Took out the memory card.
Inserted in card reader. Card reader to PC. Win32 to Card.

My heart was racing. Removed the card and back it goes in the Kobo..And there POPS the SMILEY FACE...Atlast relieved..

Updated on Kobosetup. and still enjoying my books on my reader all Thanks to you sir...God bless you..

Hello everyone.
Since five days the Kobo of my Girlfriend is not booting anymore.
I tried the Soft-Reset, the Hard-Reset (the white disco-light is there but no booting screen afterwards), I even tried to deplete the battery by letting the light on (the only thing that still work) then recharge and try to start the Kobo...didn't work.

So I have to open it and fiddle with the SD-card I guess.
Can I get an image please, because since those five days she is using MY Sony Reader and the only thing I have to finish my book is a bricked Glo
