It's not a matter of objectivity. Any time someone says anything that could so much as be interpreted as anti-Apple, you strap on your utility belt and defend like it's your life on the line. You spend more time here on this forum singing the praises of Apple and their products and just how much better they are than anything with the Android label than you do anything else. The schtick is old and indicates your unwillingness to believe in objectivity. Pot calling the kettle black.

grocery iq (at least the last time i tried it) had a more tablet centric layout on ios than the hd version did on android.

there are other examples, but these are all i can think of right now.

games - no contest. android does have copies of the casual games, but the serious high graphic quality games aren't there... yet, hopefully. there are some 3 or 4 games that are specifically made for the tegra2 but don't seem to look as good as ios games running the unreal engine.

android still has catching up and needs to incorporate some standards. sure we've got the most free apps, but how many of them are junk. until we've got more paid quality apps then we've not caught up.

we can go tit for tat, nook app on android is a dream nook app on ios is so so.

google maps on android is amazing google maps on iOs is frustrating.

angry birds are no different
bank of america are no different

We can both cherry pick what apps run better on each respective OS and make a case.

you do have a point. it depends on the app. just as long as you find what you need then you can be happy on either platform... though i'm happier with android. if only they'd get a high end device with a stable os. 3.1 is a lot closer and i'm tempted to go ahead and settle with the xoom for a 6 mo - a year and then buy a tegra3 when it comes out. it seems with 3.1 high profile mp4's are working a lot better. that would make conversion from mkv's a whoooole lot faster.
