Considering Kindle Fire HDX, a couple of questions
I'm looking for another device for reading and other stuff, and the HDX looks like a sweet device. Unfortunately, I've got a LARGE library (~1300 books), and it's ALL in ePUB. So I'd have to use an app like Aldiko to read my books on the HDX.
Question 1. How does Calibre work in this situation--can it send the books directly to a folder where Aldiko would find it, or am I going to have to mess around with moving files on the HDX. Question 2 Is it possible to sideload apps on the HDX? Question 3 Is there currently ANY way to get the Google Play Store on the HDX? Thanks for the help! |

1. Just configure Calibre to the folder where you want Aldiko to access your books.
2. Yes, it's possible to side load apps on the HDX. 3. The only way to install Google Play Store is to root the device. |

Can the HDX be rooted yet? How complex a task is it?
