Where does the pdf come from ? This book is in print and copyright restriction.

I made the PDF. I wrote the book. I know it's in print but I will privately give that good fellow the file.

If the book is on Amazon, why not get them to create a kindle version ?

Because the book is written in Romanian and not English. As I heard, if it's not in English, Spanish, French, German they can not publish it via Kindle.

Have looked everywhere for the Martina Cole book 'Two Women' but to no avail, so it would be great if anyone here happened to have a copy please?

In our library here you will only find books that are in the public domain or under a similar legal state. The books by Martina Cole are copyright protected and we are not allowed to distribute them here.
You can buy a copy at Amazon, Waterstones, Tesco...

Can you explain to us which part of "do not request copyrighted books" you're having difficulty in understanding? Do you think that this is a pirated book site?

I am looking for Malevil by Robert Merle.
I read the Readers Digest condensed version while I was a teen and I would love to find the full version for my Kindle.

I'm afraid you can't look here for Malevil by Robert Merle as this book is not in the Public Domain yet, as Robert Merle only died in 2004.
Maybe Amazon or your local library will help you out.
