App for reading Websites? (GithubWiki, Gitlab, Wikipedia, ...)

Hello,

I would like to read text and docs from the internet, which is most in a uniform structure like Github Wikis, Wikipedia, Javadoc, Forumsoftware.

It's much more comfortable to read from an eye-friendly device in a silent surrounding, than from a computer-screen with the fan noise in the background.
Until yet, I did it with the browser on the Touch Lux 3. But that's so uncomfortable and clumsy.

Are there already solutions for this?
Like converters/extractors which take the content, write it readable in a .epub file?
Or an app, that can handle the content directly and optimally display it?

Thanks in advance.
Greetings

I don't know about TL3, but at least newer devices got firmware update in 2018 that that added browser that works really well. This also has download for offline viewing function.

Apparently, TL3 will also get the new browser (see other thread about firmware 5.20 beta). It is a huge improvement over the old one, I've been browsing all kinds of sites lately with only some wifi issues. Newer device would still give you more responsive cpu if that is part of why the browser feels clumsy to you.

Will this be delivered as an upgrade from official dev or do I need to install that firmware manually myself?

I've no idea but I would think it would become available normally when 5.20 is released for all devices.

It's amazing that they provide such a firmware upgrade for even older devices.
Hopefully it gets released soon.

They actually released it couple of days ago for TL3. See the firmware thread or Pocketbook support page for the device. The auto update feature of the device might also update to it.
