Formatting Chapter Breaks?

Im new to working with Calibre so I dont quite know what to do or search for here. What Im trying to do is this. I have a book in PDF form that has many other books in it. Id like to make it so that the chapter breaks on this EPUB where the chapter actually breaks on the PDF. Usually when I convert them itll break somewhere, anywhere in the middle of the chapter. Also is there any way to make it so that I could skip straight to the next book if I was so inclined?

See the structure detection part of the conversion settings. You can specify chapter breaks using XPath. See the manual for further information.

Wow. I just gave that a quick once over, didnt understand a word of it and even once I attempted to try it out I couldnt figure anything out. How do I even get to the Command Line to specify these chapter breaks? Only option I see is to convert the metadata and that only lets me change the title, author, publisher, tag, series, ISBN, the date, the date it was published and the cover. I cant find the way to the X-Path to work on the actual PDF. I was hoping there was some sort of way to actually view the PDF and mark the spots in Calibre where youd like it to chapter break but I guess not. Thanks for the link.

You don't need the command line to specify XPath expressions, look in the structure detection part of the conversion settings. Click on one of the magic wands in header/footer removal, look at how the chapter breaks are presented in the markup, and construct your XPath expression accordingly. There's a tutorial for XPath as well.
