Yes, they were wonderful reads. Sadly, I haven't seen them in eBook format anywhere.

Been reading a few quick romance novels to get more books read, but ugh I can’t take anymore love and happiness....lol So I picked up the new Star trek Titan book Fortune of War. Quality over quantity is always better I guess.

A continuation of book eight. Everything wraps up neatly. I did think Halt made a tactical error in behavior and Will was dumber in this book than previous ones. Those inconsistencies brought this down to three stars. This was still engaging and I look forward to the next installment. Rated C [3 stars].

Next TBD.

They are available, but they look like scans by someone (not retail versions), all of which need editing and reformatting (which I'm in the process of doing).

They are indeed available in illicit versions (and I've seen a set that is decently formatted), but MR is not the place to talk about it. MR is very much opposed to piracy and illicit versions, and I've been unable to locate valid retail versions.

Discussing such things can be hazardous to your site membership.

I had purchased a few of this series in paperback format years back, and never touched them. In a recent frenzy to finish my pbook TBR list, I tried this one. It was wonderful indeed. I had read the Modesty Blaise comic strips in the newspapers ages ago, I'm surprised why these have not been published in ebook format so far. It's a pity. However, the paperback versions, though costly, are still available on Amazon.

Question when were these published? 1989 or 1873?

Modesty Blaise by Peter O'Donnell (1989-04-27) Hardcover – 1873

Yesterday evening I finished The Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb, the first book in her "Farseer Trilogy." It was quite an interesting and engaging novel. The world was unique, as was the magic, and the story was fairly compelling. I hoping I can get to the rest of the trilogy sometime. For now, though, I have one more book that I bought over the holidays to read.

Modesty Blaise by Peter O'Donnell (1989-04-27) Hardcover – 1873
The paperback edition which I have was published by Souvenir Press Ltd, UK in 2005.
According to Wikipedia:

Quote:
Modesty Blaise is a British comic strip featuring a fictional character of the same name, created by author Peter O'Donnell and illustrator Jim Holdaway in 1963. The strip follows Modesty Blaise, an exceptional young woman with many talents and a criminal past, and her trusty sidekick Willie Garvin. It was adapted into films in 1966, 1982, and 2003, and from 1965 onwards eleven novels and two short story collections were written.
