Which device should I choose in the calibre welcome wizard for PocketBook Inkpad 3? The candidates are:
- Generic e-Ink device
- PocketBook 301/302
- PocketBook 360 and newer models
- PocketBook 900
- PocketBook Pro 912

I would go with generic. The others are much older. Calibre should recognise the PB 740 automatically when connected.

Remember the profile has nothing to do with calibre recognizing the device; rather it just serves as the means to specify the devices resolution.

Recognizing the device just requires calibre to be aware of the USB id of the device.
