If the op already has Kindle books, they couldn't be used on a Kobo without stripping DRM and format shifting, all which requires Calibre on a PC/Mac with the appropriate plug-ins.
Someone who doesn't know the difference between a backlit tablet and an e-ink Kindle is most likely going to be stymied by that process. |
