@nopi1001,
take a closer look on the conversion settings for PDF sources. The standard setup isn't good anyway for converting PDF. For your initial problem you need to tweak the un-warping factor. For novels you need to go fare way below the standard factor. Somewhere between 0.1 to 0.2. In general, for a first check you should deactivate all kind of automatic processing. Make a first conversion and then check what happen and then afterwards use only what you need for that special document.
