But I have called Kobo C S today and the guy there told me that it does not contain a built in dictionary and that they are working to add this feature in the future.
How can I be sure of this information ?

The person you had on the phone may not know all the features of the new update. I'll talk to our customer care team to make sure they are updated, but this is definitely available now.

You may have a hard time locating one at this point, but they have been available at Walmart, Chapters, and Indigo stores. Chapter's on-line seems to be out of the original reader.

We've pretty much sold out of the original reader. The Wireless Reader has the same features, and is the same price as the original reader.

thanks taming, because JCKobo has said that the wifi and original have the same price.
they are respectively 98$ and 128$ in walmart canada.

That may be the advertised price, but don't count on them having any! Our local Walmart sold out of both, I hear.

lol you are well informed about Kobo and Walmart as well.
I have called 5 Walmart stores here I didn't manage to talk to one electronic clerk yet.
