yes I have tried kindle fastboot https://github.com/TobiasWooldridge/Fastboot-Kindle

fastboot -s G000K90NNNNNNNNN setvar bootmode main

Looks like this kindle has to go under the knife...lemme order some USB/UART converter from Amazon.

I was thinking tonight we play with kernel boot via fastboot , like in android world.. but fun ends here.

With aim to flash kernel and rootfs on KT3 extracted from your comment.. I ran kindletool.

Note that I personally like piping dd to netcat because it bypasses the Kindle's storage .

There are few errors probably being reported by your script in KT3.
Could be due to kernel and diag kernel offsets different in this device ??
