I saw someone on the T (public transportation) reading a paperback copy of Soul Music by Terry Pratchett (#16 in the Discworld series).

I want to know why "What people are reading on the T" does not have its own forum. This seems like a no-brainer to me. Moderators are you listening?

I'm going to develop a new type of e-reader. With a screen on the opposite side blinking and flashing the cover of the book the owner is currently reading. So everyone knows.

I think the polite thing to do when reading an ebook in a public place is every few minutes announce out loud what you are reading. I think people appreciate it when I scream out "The Mark by Jason Pinter" ever so often. I know this because when I leave a public space people tend to look very happy. Some even applaud.

Hate to argue, but it would clearly have to be a forum for "What people are reading on public transportation" with sub-forums for "Bus", "The T" (whatever that is?), "Hovercraft", "Bicycle" etc..

Anyway, somebody with a Jetbook would only pop up to ask why it took them 18 months to get a forum and this forum started almost immediately (lights blue touch paper and runs away...)
