Should the audiobook deals be moved to this forum?

There can be as many links as everyone wants but if you follow the link we have now and scroll to the bottom (you are probably already there if you have been active at viewing specials) the list of pages includes a first page choice so one click and you are there. So in essence you click twice to get to the first page.

Yes, but I'm thinking in terms of newbies looking for information. Generally on deals threads you'd click on the last one, thinking everything previous is expired and no longer relevant. So they'd miss that first post which is chockful of great information.

Anyway, it's just a thought--seems like it would be useful to have a sticky pointing to that first post, called something like General Information about Audiobooks Deals or Where to Find Audiobooks Deals.

We could do that, or tubemonkey could copy and post that information in the first thread each month. It's a bit late for September, but starting in August, it could be another solution.

I moved the posts down one notch in the new specials thread. Then I placed the OP from the old specials thread into the OP slot.

That OP is vital to the specials thread, because it contains tons of active offers that would otherwise be lost with each monthly change.

I agree...i think the way it is now, the deals with the deals with the link from here to there is best. The ebook {misc} forums are not merged with the ebook deals, so it's more consistent the way it is now.
