Cannot XMDF be converted into mobi?

Do not it become it so that calibre may convert XMDF into mobi?
First of all, though it is thought that mobi should correspond to columnar writing. It has time sad not to read the book on Japan with Kindle.

The full list of supported input/output formats can be found in the FAQ. XMDF doesn't seem to be supported. Someone needs to create a conversion plugin for it to be supported. If you can and want to do the work yourself, ask in the development subforum to get started, if not, consider making an enhancement request. Note that requests usually only get implemented if someone on the development staff has an interest in the enhancement, there's no guarantee you'll get what you ask for.

I had a quick look around and its not clear that the XMDF binary format is even documented. This means there could be a significant reverse engineering task before a new conversion plugin could even be considered. I would expect that one may also need to be familiar with Japanese or some other language that XMDF is targetted at to do a good job.
