Calibre 3.48 fails to load
Running Calibre 3.48 on a MacBook Pro running High Sierra 10.13.6 - when I try and start it, it loads the books and bottles out at the initialising user interface stage. I'm having to keep loading it until it 'sticks'. I've tried a reinstall, running direct from the Applications folder instead of the pinned toolbar icon...
Any ideas? It takes several tries before it loads. |

(cue JSWolf coming in and saying "you should use a newer version!!!!")
Your best option I think would be to try to run debug and see what it says: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=330391 |

Not possible - I did say I was running it on High Sierra 10.13.6. 3.48 is the latest version I can run without upgrading to Mojave or Catalina. At one point I did try Mojave, but so much broke on my set-up I reverted to High Sierra.
