Huawei U8800pro not detected

Hi,

I have a Huawei U8800pro running Android 2.3.5 (official ROM) that is, like the title says , undetected.
  • It does not do MTP; USB Mass Storage is all it's able to do.
  • Upon connecting the device to a computer, the phone will emulate a CD drive , but pressing the "Turn on USB Storage" button will do just that.
  • It does have an external microSD slot in addition to its built-in 2GB memory, but as I don't have a microSD card yet, I can't tell you what the vendor & ID strings would be for that.

Here's the output of "User-defined device information":
Code:
USB Vendor ID (in hex): 0x12d1
USB Product ID (in hex): 0x1037
USB Revision ID (in hex): 0x0227
Windows Main memory vendor string:
Windows Main memory ID string: ANDROID_ADAPTER
Here's the debug output:
Code:
Version: 0.8.33
USB devices on system:
[u'usb\\root_hub&vid8086&pid2936&rev0003',
 u'usb\\root_hub&vid8086&pid2937&rev0003',

Looking for devices...

Devices possibly connected: None
Both outputs were obtained with USB Mass Storage enabled on the phone, no memory card inserted and no other USB devices (that I know of) connected to my Windows 7 x64 laptop. Thanks.

If its vendor string is blank, I cannot add a builtin driver for it. You should continue to use the user defined driver.
