Any method to do a quick restart of a Kobo Glo?

Is there any way in which a Kobo Glo can be restarted/rebooted quickly?

If I power off my ereader it appears I have to wait about 15-20 seconds before the power switch responds again, allowing me to restart the ereader.

Try the master reset. There is reasoning behind the power down cycle it helps to keep files intact and prevent corruption which can cause longer delays and loads of frustration.

As far as I know there is nothing that can be done to speed up the restart after a power-off cycle. Yes it is annoying!

One wild idea might be if you use one of the tools to add a launcher to the Kobo, that you program an option just to do run a "shutdown -r" command

Thought that might have been the reasoning for the delay. In which case I will live with the delay.
