Another e-reader convert from Australia
Hi all

I bought my Sony PRS-650 yesterday after much research and procrastinating. I've put off buying an e-reader primarily because Australia is serviced so poorly in terms of the content we can buy legally but the announcement of the new Sony models really intrigued me and I decided to jump in. I read around 120-140 books a year but like to get rid of most of my books once I've read them so my primary reason for buying an e-reader is to rid myself (eventually) of the chore of having to find somewhere to get rid of all my used books (it is REALLY hard to get rid of them at no cost to me and I cannot bring myself to just throw them away). I'm hoping to be reading primarily in e-format within about 5 years. Assuming publishers come to grips with the whole idea of a globe that does not respect territorial boundaries anymore.

After only an hour or so of playing with my new toy I have to say I am very impressed. I love the touch screen in particular and the form factor seems great for things like reading in bed and propping a book up at the table while eating breakfast.

Looking forward to being part of the forums.
