Question Collections and Kindle

I would like to know if when transfering eBooks from Calibre to Kindle you can put them straigh into "collections". The only way I can see to do it at the moment is to transfer a book series to the Kindle, create the "collection" and then, long hand, go through each one and transfer it in to a th collection.

Is there a shorter way to do this, can I create the collection on Calibre. I thought that using the "Series" coloumn might have done it but it doesn't seem to do.

Any ideas anybody?

You might want to look at the Kindle Collections plugin. It allows you to manage your Kindle Collections from Calibre (although it does require a reboot of the Kindle on disconnecting from Calibre to activate the collections).

No matter what tool you use to create your collections, you always have to reboot the kindle for them to take affect and be saved.
