Bookland
So, ihr habt es geschaft. Ich habe mich für den PB302 bzw 602 entschieden. Ich warte bis in April das Modell mit dem matten Display und Webkit kommt, dann bestelle ich. Da ich die meiste Zeit damit verbringe über ebook readers zu lesen, komme ich nit mehr dazu Bücher zu lesen.
Jetzt zu meine Frage. Vielleicht kenne ich einfach nicht den richtigen Link zu Bookland aber wenn ich die Rusische webpage angucke, dann sieht wirklich auch wie ein richtiges ebook store, dagegen bei Bookland.net ist es überhaupt nicht so sonder mehr Auflistung von Bücher, nicht besonders ansprechend. Fehlt mir den richtigen Link, oder ist es so? Wenn es so ist, wird es daran gearbeitet? |

Der Booklanddienst der zZt auf dem 302 verfügbar ist, ist afaik bis jetzt auch nur über dieses zu erreichen.
Das Bookland ein normaler Ebook-Store ist, hast du richtig festgestellt. Über diesen Service wird es in naher Zukunft auch möglich sein direkt mit dem PocketBook einzukaufen. |

Danke für deine Antwort. Das heisst, dass ich mich überraschen lassen soll was für Bücher da sind....
Ich möchte so gerne unkompliziert und ohne PC_Umweg runterladen. Aber ich sehe schon, es wird alles gut, nur eine Frage der Zeit. |

Es ist ein großteil des GutenbergsProjekt eingebunden, nämlich die, die es als ePub gibt. Ausserdem noch die Bücher von Mobileread und andere Bücher die Puplic Domain (Autor länger als 70 Jahre tot) sind.
Es ist ein Großteil an richtigen Klassikern dabei und insgesamt weit über 1000 Bücher in deutscher Sprache. Übrigens gibt es dort auch Bücher in vielen anderen Sprachen |

Ich habe gerade versucht mit meinem PC ein Buch mit ePub runterzuladen, bekomme aber nur seltsame Zeichen auf dem Bildschirm zu sehen.
Gibt es ein eigenes Programm zum runterladen? vg reymund |

wenn ich auf Bookland den Faust runterladen will, klappt das mit .txt und .html gut jedoch bei .epub hab ich seltsame Zeichen auf dem Bildschirm.
Bei einem anderen Buch, Richthofen " Der rote Kampfflieger" klappt das runterladen. Ich kann es zwar nicht lesen, hab ich aber auch nicht erwartet. vg reymund |

Könnte es sein, reymund, dass du die Datei nicht erst speicherst, sondern gleich - ohne passendes Programm - zu öffnen versuchst? Epub ist ein gepacktes Format, und dein Betriebssystem muss den Umgang damit erst lernen. Calibre kann sozusagen alles, aber wenn du mit Firefox im Netz unterwegs bist, gibt es auch eine kleine, feine Erweiterung für ePub-Dateien: http://www.epubread.com/de/

firefox hat erst gar nicht gespeichert sondern versuchte gleich zu öffnen, mit dem Zusatzprogramm klappt es jetzt , Danke
