EPUB indexing with CFI ?

Hello,

I'm investigating indexing engines that can read a library of ePub files, and create a single index for each one that supports CFI. The ePub file and the index will be downloaded to a users device, using our custom app, where we would need search capability when the user is reading the book within our application.

There's 2 components: 1) an indexer that would run on a server to generate an index file for each book, and uses CFI. 2) a search engine embedded within our app to perform search operations against a book that a user downloaded (with the index file) while a user is reading it, and ultimately can use the CFI to pop to a point in the book by clicking on a search result.

I'm having a hard time finding any search or index engines specific to ePub files that utilize CFI. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated. For the moment getting index files generated that utilize CFI is the top priority...searching against them would be the next effort.

Thank you,

Barry O'Neill
