Please help with Meta-tags

To all:

I have a new NOOK reader, and synced it with Calibre via Ubuntu 10.04 linux. All is well, but I have some old e-books that have trashed filenames/tags. I used Calibre to clean up the meta-tags, but when I transfer to the Nook, the tags don't go. I get the original (wrong) titles, authors, etc.

Could someone please help me fix this?

Try deleting them from the Nook first then resending them.
