Hi, I'm having problem with this step:
6. Press "Done" at the prompt to install the jailbreak script.
After pressing done nothing happens, it just going back to demo menu.
My kindle is PW2 FW 5.12.2.2
Please help.

I've heard that if you want to downgrade, you need factory image.

Is there any chance that anyone have this factory image for paperwhite 11 (2021 ) ?

I'm having the same issue on KT2 FW 5.12.2. I tap the store icon and instead of rebooting, I get an Application Error. Any help? I redid the whole process multiple times to no avail.

Hello,

I managed to follow all the instructions and everything worked very well, installed koreader as well but i can't turn on wi-fi nor reset the device. it says setting restricted, device is administered and i should contact my system adminsitrator. any ideas?

Newb here. I managed to jailbreak my Kindle 10th Gen (KT4) using WatchThis while my Kindle was on 5.14.2 and was all was well until yesterday I left my Wifi on (I have block OTA on from Kual Helper+) but some how the Kindle updated to 5.16.8. Is my jailbreak screwed? I do notice that if I reboot the device that it does show *****Jailbreak***** while booting up but have nothing when actually booted in the OS. Anyone have any advice? Sorry if this is posted in the wrong around didn't know where else to post.

Hi everybody!

I followed all the instructions and managed to jailbreak my PW2 (5.12.2.2) earlier today. According to Step 5 of Post-Jailbreak, updating my device with this hotfix file should have brought my Kindle out of Demo mode. Problem is: It didn't.

My PW2 seems to be stuck in demo and I can't find a way out. All advice I could find on this was to reset the device to factory settings. Since the jailbreak and everything else worked so far after a lot of headache I would prefer not to take this route and find a way to get out of the demo without losing everything I've done. Any tips / solutions?
