JB is not possible. :-(

I have read the instructions and would love to have the password.

Do you think there would be issues if the Kindle is plugged in through a USB type C adaptor?

Specs: 3G + Wifi 8GB with special offers.

We can not jail break that version.
That firmware version mentioned in the directions is a mistake on my part, one that I haven't had a chance to fix yet.

With your files, I was able to jailbreak 5.9.0.6. Now to update to the latest and test out some stuff. Thank you again!

You can neither downgrade it nor jail break it.
(If either Oasis model has an accessible serial port, nobody has posted documentation on it.)
