Calibre 2.68 - kepub conversion no longer available?
I just upgraded to Calibre 2.68 and the option to convert to kepub is no longer a choice in the drop down. I have KoboUtilities installed and it has been working fine for a very long time. The "Check for Kobo Updates..." option is greyed out as well.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

The conversion to kepub is done by an extra plugin. That has to be installed for kepub to appear as an output format when converting. Make sure it is installed and up to date.

For the Kobo Utilities, the "Check for Kobo Updates..." option is only enabled when a Kobo device is connected.

It was installed. Not sure why it wasn't showing up. I ended up uninstalling everything, and reinstalling both calibre and the kobo plugin. It was back after I did all that.

On occasions, following a Calibre upgrade, the Kepub plugins have gone missing for me. Simply shutting down Calibre, waiting a short time, and then re-starting it has always solved my problem.

If it happens again then give this a try.
