Kindle UK £3 credit after £10 purchase - exp June 11

Well, the $5 on $20 credit deal in the US must have been successful, because it's being replicated at Kindle UK. This time it's £3 on £10, has to be activated, and as in the US, you get to count books you bought during the entire offer period, June 5 to June 11, even if you hadn't yet activated the offer when purchased.

This appeared as a banner at the top of my page while browsing at Kindle UK, and when I clicked through, I came to this webpage: https://www.amazon.co.uk/b?node=21579382031

But I'm not sure how helpful that link will be since they seem to imply it's a targeted offer...so YMMV.

Lots of other finicky rules, and here they are:

Thank! I've activated the offer, but I suspect I won't buy enough (any?) ebooks in the offer period. But £13 of ebooks for £10 is a pretty good deal.

Thanks for bringing this deal to my attention, I don't often check the Amazon UK site. In under 10 minutes I was able to activate the offer, purchase the required value of ebooks, get the promo credit by email and spend it! Picked up 6 Erle Stanley Gardner Cool & Lam books for £14, and oddly enough these titles are cheaper in the UK than the USA. BTW although I am in the USA I have a gift card credit that I use for payment on the UK site and it seems to work fine for Kindle titles.

Pretty efficient - congrats! (I love the inexpensive ESGs popping up from time to time now in the UK!)

I'm probably going to get the next-to-latest Fiona Buckley historical mystery, Web of Silk, which is a Severn House title and probably won't go sale soon, or for much of a decent price. At £8.54, it's a bit (a LOT) beyond what I usually spend for a book, and also a bit more than it is in the US, given current exchange rates. But this is one of my top five favorite mystery series, so the "sale" can be my excuse. And with the two £0.99 titles I bought on June 6, that should just tip me over the £10.

I haven't quite quit looking though...

And then whatever I do for the £10, I'm going to use the credit on the latest in Catherine Aird's Sloan/Crosby series, Inheritance Tracks, which is sitting at £3.59 right now. This is another of my top five series, and actually cheap enough at £3.59 for me to buy without the credit, But WTH, I hadn't noticed its most recent price drop yet, and this makes an easy way to make sure I use the credit too.

Woo-hoo!

These types of Amazon deals can be wonderful bargains. Don't let someone convince you otherwise.

The savings can be HUGE - but only if one chooses wisely (price wise) when selecting from your Wish List.
