I thought I saw myself on the monitor before it blew up in flames!

I must have drank way more Guinness than I thought ...

Actual, a komodo dragon's saliva doesn't contain poison. The mouth contains massive amounts of infection materials (I remember reading/hearing described the mouth as putrid), and when a komodo dragon bites an animal, the animal eventually dies of a massive infection.

I do hope that the chicken avoids komodo dragons. Fortunately, they aren't too fast so he should be able to evade them.

This (infection, not venom) was actually just a guess. It turns out that the Komodo Dragon does have venom.

OK, we're ready to go. We have a mildly inebriated poohbear_nc in one lane, one of the Wiggles' modified Komodo Dragons in the next lane, and at the end of the track we have an open barrel of Guinness and a piled high platter of jam doughuts.

*An announcer appears and covers the race...*

Now we are off to a...well not that fast...start. The Komodo Dragon is traveling at a speed of 1 mile per hour. It would seem like an easy win for the chicken.

But for some reason the chicken doesn't seem to be able to go in a straight line. He quickly came to the Finish Line, then fell down. When he returned to his feet, he started to walk in circles, slowly traveling back to the Start Line.

Wait, the chicken has stopped...that can't be right...he's doing a ballet dance. Now he doing break dancing...now he's disco dancing (where did the disco ball come from?).

Suddenly, the Komodo Dragon makes his move...and starts to move at a speed of 1.5 miles per hour. Wait! He's pulling out something...its a can of Guinness! The dragon has thrown the can behind him.

I've never seen such speed! The chicken sees the can and head straight towards it, running into the Komodo Dragon and knocking him out.

Viewers, it looks like the race is over. The Komodo Dragon is out cold and it looks like he won't be waking up anytime soon. At the same time, the chicken appears to be walking in random directions. Correction, he is doing the worm and slowly heading towards the Finish Line. Wait, the chicken has fallen asleep with his beak on the Finish Line.

There you have it. The chicken has won.
