Inkpad 3 CBR calibre Author issue
Hello,
I transfer CBR files to my Inpak3 from Calibre, but they appear as "unknown author" in the library Also, the series tag doesn't work either It works correctly when I upload an epub. Coul'd you help me please ? Thanks.

Have you added the Calibre plugin "Embed comic metadata"?
via... Calibre > Preferences > Plug-ins > Get new plug-ins > Embed comic metadata I chose the first option to add to main toolbar. Install then restart Calibre. Last edited by neil_swann80; 09-19-2023 at 11:56 AM. |

Hello.
Thanks for the help, but it doesn't work. Maybe I did something wrong. On my Kobo, everything works well even without the plugin. The CBZ files are well organized by author and series. In my new Inkpad 3, the CBZ files are under an unknown author, and there are no series listed, even with the plugin. Last edited by DjeDJe_zr7; 09-22-2023 at 05:47 PM. |

Your initial post stated CBR files, latest states CBZ. Do you get definitely get the same issue with both file types?
Why I ask is I experienced the same issue as you report with a CBR file. After manually entering the Author/Title/Series into Calibre and converting to a CBZ the information is all correctly shown and filtered within the Library of my PocketBook HD3. |

I've tried with CBZ and CBR files, and both have issues. The only time it works is when Calibre converts the CBR/CBZ to EPUB. I will try to figure out how to convert from CBZ to CBR using Calibre. DjeDje_zr7 |
