Deregister Kindle Fire
I purchased a Kindle Fire HD and want to give my old Kindle Fire to my brother (he is in his late 70's and has trouble reading paperbacks). I would like to also give him the 700+ e-books on the reader that I purchased. When I tried to deregister it in my Amazon account it wants to delete the e-book library of 700+ e-books.
Is there a way to deregister the reader and not delete the e-books? Thanks. |

No. The books are registered to you, not to your device. So for him to have the books you would have to leave it registered to you.
