Can PRS-950 download pdf files using wifi?
Hi - sorry am a new user - but cannot find an answer to this (simple?) question.
I need to read academic articles - usually in pdf format - and find these on the web. Or I may find on the web on my office computer and could then email to my email account. Would the 950 be able to download these and/or access from gmail or google reader using wifi? Or do I have to remember to bring the cable and connect the reader to my office computer? It would be great if I could just send files to my email account (or some web based file storage) and then download to the reader from there. Is this possible? Sorry if answered elsewhere - but I could not find the answer. Indeed on ebook reader site it says the wifi can only be used to download content from the Sony reader store. This would be a huge drawback. Hope you can help |

The manual mentions that file downloading is not supported. You might be able to use Google's viewer, but I wouldn't count on it.
