Battery indicator issue - any way to renew calibration?

The battery on my Aura HD was run down (I left it idle for a while), so I recharged it. When the battery level was at 56%, I took it off the AC charger to connect it to a computer and load some books. When I disconnected it from the computer, suddenly the battery level changed to 100%... and still stayed there after a power cycle (on/off).

On my android phone, I can delete the battery stat file and start a new calibration if there was something wrong with the battery level indicator. Is there any way to start over battery calibration on this device?

The current firmware version on it is 3.1.1, which has been updated incrementally over-the-air.

Let it go very low, then charge it completely. If you do that a couple of times, the indicator should be more accurate
