Viewing New Readers
If I want to see a new Sony eReader here in the UK, I simply got to WH Smith or Waterstones. Where can I go to see a Kindle before purchasing???

Amazon.
Really, there are no stores selling the Kindle family. You need to buy it and return within 30 days if it doesn't fit your needs. No preview available. |

Might want to also check your local Amazon Kindle message boards. I know when the U.S. Kindle 2 came out in March 2009, individual forum members were arranging meet-ups for people to demo the Kindle. (But of course, be careful when meeting anyone from the internet: don't give any personal information, meet in a public place, yadda yadda...)
