Yes it is. The main issue is EPUB (OEB). Parts of the document are often split into multiple files within the archive. The issue is each "page" can have radically different formatting due to any arbitrary css being assigned to a "page". Right now printing from the viewer uses a print css which replaces the formatting with a printer friendly version similar to what many web sites do. This is done because there is no easy way to attach multiple "pages" to a single printer port while maintaining the unique look of each page and print preview functionality. If you want 1 to 1 printing then convert to PDF and print the PDF.
