I recently dumped that adware lo-res moneypit known as Vindigo (no, I'm not bitter), and the only thing I miss about it is the movie listings (she said, like a regretful lover). I've been pretty unimpressed with Hollywood.com, and I'm trying to replicate the search-by- theater function with iSilo. Yahoo! movies comes up with a range of museum theaters and bars for my zip code (unsurprising, as I live in Washington, DC -- museum heaven). Moviefone seems to be for the wireless crowd.
Just wondering if anyone favored one movie site over another. |

I cannot say for search-by-zip-code websites, but I love the philly movie reviews

I want to search-by-theater, not just by zipcode.

Well... I also know of movies.go.com, where you can enter a specific theatre id, e.g.
"http://movies.go.com/cgi/movielistings/request.dll?THEATERSPECIFIC&house_id=187&format=pr n" |

I think I tried this one and it appeared set up for wireless users.

Not to be completely off-topic, but IMDB is discontinuing their user bulletin board & site messaging systems. If anyone here wants to back up their comments or contact their IMDB friends, now might be a good time to do it, as it will be impossible to after 2/19/2017.

The site fandango.com allows you to put in a zip code, and then it pulls in a bunch of matching theaters.
They also have a "My Theaters" option where you can save specific theaters you like/use. |
