I gave my wife a Kobo gift card. She has a RIM PlayBook tablet that she uses a lot for email and solitaire but not for e-reading. She'd never bought an e-Book before.

She happened to be house-bound with a bad cold so she really appreciated the convenience of being able to order a new treat without going outside. (I'm just a little worried now that I might have created a Monster!)

I didn't receive any electronics, ebooks, or gift cards for Christmas. That's okay; I'm happy with the two tablets I bought late last year, and my Kindle Keyboard is still going strong.

An iPod touch 5 (64 gb) and amazon and iTunes gift cards. I've been using my amazon gift cards to buy books in the 12 days of Christmas kindle sale. Bought 9 books so far. I also bought a 32 gb nexus 7 as a gift to myself just before Christmas.
