The Lite Brite has a backlight....

Kind of low resolution display, though. Something like 5 dpi, isn't it? Nice color saturation, though.

The British do not use the Euro...and the bob is still around, though they call it a 10 pence piece, instead of a shilling.

No, No! The shilling is 5 pence. There were 20 shillings to a pound sterling.
A 10-pence piece was formerly known as a florin or a two-bob bit.

And just what the hell is a league, as referencing a distance! The kindle dictionary has a furlong as an eighth of a mile, but says that a league is a grouping of states or individuals with a singular purpose. Doesn't make sense when the character states that she is going to travel less than two leagues to the nearest castle.
