I'm not absolutely certain whether you mean price for a recently published book, or the current market value for a rare book.

Regardless, there is no such field by default. You would have to add what you want as a custom column. You would also have to manually enter the amount. Or alter the metadata lookup routines to get the numbers from another website.

Then you would need to export (eg calibredb --list) as a CSV to a spreadsheet as Calibre has no provision to add (multiply or divide)

See ==>> Calibre template language - Function classification
  • Arithmetic
    • add(x, y)
    • divide(x, y)
    • multiply(x, y)
    • subtract(x, y)

There's also this recently posted plugin ==>> [GUI Plugin] Sum Column

Cyphigma:
Is correct what you say I have custom columns how: name of the library (where I bought the book), date of purchase and price. that I completed manually

Sorry I answered after so long, I am checking my messages.
What I had in mind was whether with a plugin I could get the price of the books at that time, along with the date of the day the query was made. And that the website can be modified by the user or have a list of sites where prices can be consulted.
Example: Amazon
or in Argentina
https://www.cuspide.com/Libro/978950...tor+Sue%c3%b1o

I am very happy with the sum column plugin, congratulations to the creator

There is no reason why someone couldn't write a plugin to do that. But, strictly, it cannot be done in a metadata source plugin. These are limited to updating core columns and cannot update custom columns. But, user interface plugin could. The issue would be finding someone interested in doing it.

Or that is of interest to most users, I understand.
