How to format from a tricky html source

I would like to format some economics books from Online Library of Liberty from html to epub. Unfortunately it ist not possible to download a simple html-file even the formating on the OLOL-side is html with linked notes (example: http://oll.libertyfund.org/index.php...=279&Itemid=27). Any suggestions how to take it over to Sigil without losing the links to the notes.

Of course it's possible to download it. Do you use Firefox? "Save Page As..."

There's also the option of right clicking the page, viewing the source, copy-pasting it into a .txt file and renaming the extension as .htm. If it's using an external CSS file it's not that difficult to track it down (just look at where it references it, and manually type in the address).

Thank you! But if I save the page I get the complete page not just the frame with the book content. Is it possible just to keep the book content without other page elements?

Sure. Like I said, copy-paste the source. Then you may trim and groom it to your heart's content.
