He did try to buy the US but he and the Chinese could not reach an agreement.
The Chinese insisted on keeping the trademark rights to: "Made in the USA".

other logos like: firefox,opera,chrome - are to ugly in black@white mode



In Russia - ALT linux is the main OS.

BUT IE LOGO came from 90-xx, and this logo is very popular.
(90-xx is that time, when Apple has only NewtonOS )
