Grrrrrr, I found an inkmesh listing for A Suitable Boy and never realized it was for audiobooks, not ebooks. Oh well, looks like the library is needed for this.

Come on In the Pond!!!
I'm with caleb72 A Suitable Boy is a fantastic selection, but I'm totally not up for a re-read. 1,474 pages (of microfiche sized writing). This would be the perfect book for an e-reader. No more fumbling with the ginormousness. |

Nominations are closed.
The poll will be up soon. It's odd that this month had so many nominations and so many nominations with a good amount of support, yet only two made final voting. |

I really loved the nominations this month; it's probably my favourite group of nominations as a whole that we've had so far. I'm very interested in almost every single nomination except for Beloved, and that's only because I've already read it. All the rest though I would've happily read.

completely agree - pity more titles did not manage to reach the voting stage!

I agree that it would have been nice to get at least one or two more books into the final vote. Is the requirement for five total nominations the problem. Well maybe in that there are not that many people who seem to participate in the nomination process, at least for this month. Then again maybe not as some of the people who did participate left some of their nominations unused.
