Where is the embed metadata command?

Do I have to enable it some how by going into preferences? There's too many options and I don't have the patience or energy to find it right now so if someone could be very specific on where it is I will be forever grateful. I'm just trying to make sure the metadata is saved within my pdf files.

Preferences - Toolbars
Select the toolbar you want the button to appear on
Select Embed Metadata and move it to the toolbar using the arrow
Use up/down arrows to position it where you want.

Preferences ==> Toolbars

Note that that is only needed if you must update the metadata in the in-library copy.
When using send-to-device or save-to-disk, the metadata is automatically updated in the exported copy.

The Editor will update embedded metadata also, but you need to check the option in Preferences, Integration with Calibre (don't remember if the default is to be checked)
