Newspaper Download error
Very few of the newspaper or magazine downloads work for me. Even the new Adventure Gamer magazine doesn't work. What I usually get are the covers, which are very large , and the column headers and nothing else. The covers are about 3 times larger than the viewer window.
Any suggestions? John |

I said open command line prompt, not run this command from start menu.
To open command line prompt do this: press Windows key + R - ejecute program dialog will appear. type cmd and press enter as a result you should have open command line prompt in there execute command from previous message |

Same with Time Magazine except I get just the cover. Newsweek mag works fine. Also Discover mag works fine.

OK, what happens if you execute this from command line prompt:
Code:
feeds2epub --test --debug "Adventure Gamers" 1. What OS are you using? 2. What antivirus do you have? 3. Do you have antispyware or software firewall on your machine? |

Something is wrong. I always test recipes before sending them to the community on several machines and they always work.
The problems you are experiencing are specific to your machine. It can be one of following: 1. Somehow calibre installation is corrupted 2. Your antivirus is interfering with download Try to disable antivirus/firewall completely or even better go to the safe mode with networking and try to download news from there. If it works from there than you should reconfigure your antivirus or get yourself a better one. |

If either of those is the case then none should work. Isn't that correct? Newsweek, Discover, and Scientific American work fine. Frustrating thing!!!
Thanks, John |
